The late Dennis Braid was an Australian-born big game fisherman, lure maker, and outdoorsman who came to the United States in 1971. Before building his name in offshore fishing, he worked on custom cars for movies, television, and celebrity clients, then turned his attention to making fishing lures in his garage.
Dennis Braid lived the big game lifestyle, fishing for marlin and tuna in destinations like Mexico, Panama, and Prince Edward Island, co-hosting Monster Fish, and later pursuing big game bowhunting in the U.S. and Africa.
