Hawaiian fisherman Wes Leslie learned to make lures from Legendary Captain Gene Vanderhoek who needed a steady supply and was too busy slaying fish. Wes's lures quickly became a favorite in Kona, although were never commercially available.
Sadly Wes Leslie passed away unexpectedly in March of 2023.
