This Tado is on consignment from a retired fisherman in Kona. He hunted BIG FISH and this was a very productive lure for him. The only reason he is parting with it is because he sold his boat and is no longer fishing. 

Not only will you own a a proven bait but also a piece of  Hawaiian big game fishing and lure making history!  

There is no Coggin label because this is one of Steve Coggin's very early lures that was a collaboration with his fishing buddy dentist Dr Park. These original Coggin lures are etched COPA on the back of the skirt post.  
Steve Coggin started making lures in Oahu in the 1970's. His fishing buddy was Dr.  Park, who was a dentist and was skilled in making dental molds. They would often mold lures that worked well (back then on the old Sampans) and fish them. One day they decided to design their own lure, to make a big lure no one else had! They went back to the (dental) office and created the extreme Tado!

This one has the official COPA signature and has been authenticated by Steve Coggin. 

Size: Massive 16" / 18" skirts have been trimmed to about 15" 
Condition: Chip on nose, lots of bill rash
