Jon Niiyama is the Hawaii lure maker behind Niiyama Lures, known for handmade and hand-painted fish-head trolling lures with highly realistic eyes, gills, fins and baitfish detail. His original designs imitate offshore baitfish including aku, opelu, mahi, ballyhoo and malolo flying fish.
