Handmade by Wayne Matsumoto in Mililani, Oʻahu, Matsu Lures are a sought-after favorite among Hawaiʻi fishermen. Wayne has been crafting resin trolling lure heads since the 1980s, earning a loyal following for his vibrant fish-head designs, many made to match Yamashita skirts, and his well-known Smoker. These Hawaiian trolling lures are especially popular for their excellent performance in rougher seas.

The Matsu lineup includes trolling lures for targeting marlin, ahi (yellowfin tuna), mahi mahi, and ono (wahoo). Popular with Oʻahu fishermen and still something of a local secret beyond Hawaiʻi, these lures sell quickly when available.
