Master lure craftsman Gary Eoff has created a small batch of classic Marlin Magic Lures using his prized and rare collection of abalone, white and black mother of pearl shells. 

Vintage shell has been meticulously chosen, cut and matched to create the finest shell lures ever made.

All Marlin Magic Lures are hand-made and individually crafted. Gary works on every lure and he and Marlin are always developing new models and shapes. Some of the most notable shapes include the Ahi P, Ruckus, the Pear family and Smokey Joe. All the lures are tested, fine-tuned and perfected by Marlin before being released.

Recently they have been bringing back some old shapes and looks. Gary is making lures with all shell inserts. He matches the shell slabs on both sides, top, bottom and nose creating an ultimate one-of-a-kind Signature Series. He is also making a deluxe salt and pepper lure using rainbow abalone shell and other new looks using real shell as well as shell veneer. His new look includes real shell eyes that are luminous and have the look of real live bait fish.


After 40 years, Gary is still crafting Marlin Magic lures one at a time. Each lure in the Signature Series is a work of art, made in limited numbers, collectable, and signed by Gary.
