This lure was bought in person from Brian Crampton, he and his wife were in Kona staying near by and stopped by the Big Game Lures Hawaii Lanai.
He brought his beautiful lures with him. When I selected this one it was obvious there was something sentimental about it. They explained to me that the vinyl skirting had been drawn out by Scott Crampton, the last piece of vinyl he was preparing to cut.

Bio: Crampton Baits are made by Brian Crampton the son of the late legendary lure maker Scott Crampton. He has become a skilled craftsman in his own right proudly carrying on the tradition of his father. In the last few years of his life Scott's workshop was at Brian's home and Brian learned first hand under the guidance of Scott.
