The Small DT by Brian Crampton Baits was originally designed by Scott Crampton decades but saw limited production due to molding challenges. Revived by Brian, it now returns in the exact original shape and weight.
This 9" front-and-reverse-tapered plunger features a saddle-sized skirt. DT stands for Double Taper. Its compact size makes it ideal for a wide range of pelagic species.

Crampton Baits are crafted by Brian Crampton, son of the late legendary lure maker Scott Crampton. Following in his father’s footsteps, Brian has become a skilled craftsman, proudly continuing the family tradition.
In Scott's final years, his workshop was based at Brian's home, where Brian had the invaluable opportunity to learn directly under his father’s expert guidance.
Today, Brian’s lures carry on the exceptional quality and craftsmanship that have made the Crampton name legendary in the fishing world.
