The Coggin Lures Invert features a distinctive inverted face and an iridescent dichro insert with a textured, reflective finish that resembles fish scales. The inverted face and brass jets create an irresistible bubble trail.
Steve Coggin began making fishing lures on Oahu, Hawaii, in the 1970s. His fishing buddy, Dr. Park, was a dentist skilled in making dental molds.
The two often made molds of successful trolling lures used aboard the old Hawaiian sampans and fished their creations.
Eventually, they decided to design something completely different: a large lure unlike anything available at the time. Back at Dr. Park's dental office, they created the Extreme Tado.
If you ever come across a vintage lure with COPA etched into it, you've found an original Park/Coggin creation. Score!
