The Aliʻi Kai Big Bullet is a heavy 12 oz marlin lure built for deep tracking, strong water pressure, and stable performance at trolling speed. I
This lure is skirted with a generous amount of iridescent Flashabou, producing intense flash and movement throughout the trolling spread. Its heavy construction helps it hold position in rough water and maintain a direct, controlled swimming action.
This lure is already proven and shows bill rash from a previous marlin strike, providing clear evidence of real offshore use.

Aliʻi Kai Lures are handmade big game trolling lures in Kona, Hawaiʻi, by charter captain Shawn Rotella, who has fished Hawaiian waters for more than 20 years. Mentored by Tom Futa and influenced by legendary Hawaiian lure maker Joe Yee, Rotella still uses many of Futa’s original molds and wooden masters to produce Aliʻi Kai Lures. He has caught more sailfish than any other local captain, held six top big-game fishing spots in a single year, and landed one of the largest blue marlin ever caught on 50-pound tackle. Each lure is tested and refined aboard his Kona charter boat, Night Runner, and the name Aliʻi Kai means “King of the Sea.”
