Vintage Sevenstrand Lures Beeper
"This was called the "beeper" because with batteries installed it emitted a beeping noise that supposedly would attract and then help marlin track it.
These were popular in Southern California for striped marlin. Hard to keep the beeper working and had to replace batteries often. No idea if the beeping really worked but they did catch fish. Maybe that's just because it was what everyone was pulling!
They were expensive at the time for a marlin lure. Popular in the 90's. "
